ROUTINE EXCERCISES AND DYSMENORRHOEA(MENSTRUAL CRAMPS) RELIEF.

Dysmenorrhoea, also referred to as menstrual cramps is what we Nigerian ladies would commonly refer to as "menstrual pains". Yes! today, I speak particularly to ladies, ok and to those guys who worry about the monthly cramps their ladies suffer during their period. Cramps occur when there is insufficient oxygen reaching cells in certain areas of the body, and what better way is there to circulate oxygenated blood to all body cells than to exercise? It has been tested and verified that routine exercises, all month long or weeks before your monthly cycle helps with providing "near-total", and in some individuals "total" relief from menstrual cramps. You probably didn't link one to the other back then, but for those of us who have "served", can I draw your attention to how you didn't even know when it was almost time for your monthly period till it came..., back in NYSC camp just because you partook in every form of the strenous tasks assigned and in early morning workouts? Then yes! It is honestly possible to live without the stash of OTC pain killers which we all save for the "monthly terror" even after committing sins of ice cream, soft drinks and chocolate all month long (some ladies say their cramps are worsened after taking a lot of sweet foods within the month). I personally, have had to deal with this menace till a concerned friend (Name withheld) - who, by the way, is an exercise freak, read up and found the "scientifically backed up" reason with which to lure me to routine excercising (yours truly wasn't a huge exercise fan till I saw this great benefit). Various experts in their researches have determined that doing exercises which involve flexing muscles of the abdomen and waist region: Could be sit ups, bending to touch your toes, bridges, or a combination of these help bring relief for dysmenorrhoea. So create your own exercise routine today and stick to it daily for weeks before your period and join the testifying crew. I await your feedback as you try this out.

    Nice piece.
Properly controlled routine of regular workout is exceptionally good for all. Keeps one ageless, healthy and reduces stress-effects.

  10. While the cramp is on, nope(can you even attempt exercising while you have cramps?). It works only if done weeks in advance.
